founder
Anne Grimes
Founder + Owner
Anne is a Bay Area native, registered and public health nurse and mother of three. She has always had a passion for caring for others, helping to make their day a little brighter. From a young age, she learned that even the simplest acts of time and personalized attention made a positive impact on those around her. In 2003, Anne earned her nursing degree from Saint Mary’s College and Samuel Merritt University. As she continued her professional journey through both Western and Eastern medicine, she found her niche in women’s health. Over time, she saw how women gave every ounce of their energy to others, continuously multitasking and trying their best to meet the demands of their personal and professional lives, while leaving little left for themselves.
She saw how just 30 minutes of personalized care filled their cups. She knew firsthand that getting her hair done by her sister, Keri, was the highlight of her calendar. Investing in her hair and skin was, and continues to be, her favorite time spent on herself. Finding a location where she could have a multitude of service offerings while also getting the level of attention she was seeking proved difficult to find locally. With her background in business and women’s wellness and her sister’s expertise in the beauty industry, Stone Foxx was born. Anne is a shameless advocate of self-love and views it as a necessity for our mental and physical well-being. She created Stone Foxx as an urban sanctuary for anyone and everyone who feels the same.
Tara Parenti
Facialist + Director of Esthetics Education
Tara’s beauty and wellness ethos are deeply rooted in eastern modalities, science, alchemy, and energetics. As a lifelong learner, her comprehensive and ongoing studies in the health and wellness space have elevated her therapeutic approach as truly holistic-treating the whole person and identifying underlying causes of skin conditions, rather than just treating the symptoms. Known for her empathetic, intuitive, and nurturing touch, Tara strives to make her treatment space a sanctuary of support, inclusivity, and peace.

team
A licensed esthetician for over 15 years, Tara is a former Advanced Educator from the International Dermal Institute, considered to be one of the leading global post graduate education institutions in skin and body therapy. She was the Head Esthetics Learning Leader at the Paul Mitchell San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, helping to train and mentor future professionals in the industry. She is the former Lead Esthetician and Education Manager for True Botanicals. She has worked at renowned spas and skin studios including the Forbes five star Sense Spa, Menlo Park and the iconic Tru Spa, SF. She has studied eastern massage modalities in South Asia. She has consulted in education and product development for clean beauty companies including Wiley Body and NakedPoppy, where she is their resident skin care specialist.
Keri Olsen
Stylist + Director of Hair
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Keri brings her fun, spirited energy with a touch (maybe more) of badass. She’s been making waves since 2007, starting with her education from Paul Mitchell. Always evolving, Keri is on the cutting edge of styling through her advanced training in cut, color, and Keratin smoothing treatments. She has the unique ability to bring out your best features and highlight what makes you special, while taking into account your lifestyle and beauty goals. Whether it’s a beach-blonde bob, or dark, long locks, Keri will have you feeling like a Stone Cold Foxx every time you leave her chair!
